Incredible numbers of Agents rush to take you down. You break the rules of gravity. How far can you go down the the rabbit hole? Are you ready to jack into the world of Matrix? Get ready to Enter the Matrix.
Well the gameplay is simple and fun. Two main characters, Ghost and Niobe and also our greatest villans, the Agents. Ghost and Niobe have different story lines so you wont get bored playing the same game all over again.
Niobe is superb in hand-to-hand combat. She can deliver different combos and finish off oppenents quickly. She also handles the hovercraft effiecently making her the commander of her group. When Niobe makes up her mind you either follow her or get out of her way.
Ghost is Niobe's partner. He has the true spiritual and martial arts. Ghost also fights well and is an assistant to Niobe. He listens to Niobe and support her in whichever way he can.
Sparks is the operator. He keeps in touch with the two characters during missons to inform of clues and escape routes. Well thsi three people are in a different part of the Matrix and they follow the treachings of Morpheus.
Lets talk about the game. You can defy the rules of gravity and dodge bullets. Do a cartwheel and run on walls. The best part in this game is that you can perform slow motion moves just like the Matrix. The game calls it Focus. It recharges itself when used up. Your health also heals when u are weak. Throughout the game you fight. The awesome part is when u go against the Agents. You can perform combos and use the focus at the same time making it look realistic. You get to jump hugh distances, drive cars on cazy chases and shoot armed helicopters. However not all games are perfect.
The game is not realistic enough. When u fight there is no blood. I though this is gonna be a great game but as I sat down and played for 1 hr I was actually forcing myself to finish the game. The main characters in the Matrix movie, Neo, Trinity and Morpheus are not playable. You can see them in some cut scenes provided in the game. Basically, what you didn't see in the movies Matrix Reloaded, is in the game Enter The Matrix. The gameplay is boring. The story line is not going to glue you onto your seats. Your missions require you to save a few people that the Agents are holding and also to destroy the Sentinels.
When you jack out from the Matrix, you have another enemy, the Sentinel. The merciless cyborg that cuts metal and destorys any living. The most favourite area of the game is Hacking. Its a option to choose, where you get a chance to actually hack into the Matrix and gain information. It took a long time for me to figure out lots of things. You can view pictures and play movies. Well during Hacking you can drop weapons into the game to make it easier.
Overall this game is alright. I liked it in someways. The excellent moves that you can make out of Ghost and Niobe is very cool. Try this game if you are a Matrix fan |
