Razor BoomSlang 2000 The SuperMouse... what else can I say? My first grip on the Razor was firm, the curvature of the body fits nicely to the contour my my palm. It's much larger in size than a regular mouse, or you might even call it a rat for that matter. The left and right buttons are so large that my whole index and middle fingers are resting them. Beside those two, there are still two extra buttons on the both sides of the mouse, and not forgetting the roller button. That adds up to a total of 5 buttons in all. The softwares package comes with the mouse drivers and buttons configuration program that let you customise the mouse buttons. That high 2000dpi (Dot Per Inch) sampling is best for those high-resolution games that requires fine scrolling and target pointing. Few types of game genre might find this useful. There are 2D/3D real-time strategy game like Tiberian Sun and RPG games like Baulder's Gate 2 which can run at resolutions higher than 640x480. Not forgetting the all time favourite first person shooter like Half-Life, Quake3, Ureal Tornament and Counter-Strike, where most of them can run at 1280x960 resolutions. Now you can enjoy the high definition graphics without having to compensate for your lack of mouse sensitivity. But if you ask me whether it's worth the money, well, it all depends whether you have the cash. At such a pricing, people might be turned alway.
