  Went to the midnight screening on 18th to watch Hero. And I've just realized a few things. Firstly, many youngsters don't really know what they are watching. They thought its just another action-packed movie. Second, they don't understand the language cause serious and touching issues are responsed with laughters. Third, those who never read a single chinese novel or comic, are nowhere near to understand what each movement means. Its a great movie to watch, to understanding the culture and history of China. Those who enjoy the Romance of Three Kingdoms should catch it.

This the news to welcome any amount of beta tester for CS 1.6 and TFC usingh Steam 2.0:
Steam Beta 2.0 begins today at 3 pm Pacific. The beta is open to the public, anyone can join by downloading and running the 4MB install applet.
For the first few days, this beta will include the coming versions of
Counter-Strike (1.6) and Team Fortress Classic. Further updates to these games, as well as additional content, will be made available to participants throughout the beta.
Steam is a broadband platform for the delivery and management of digital content. More information on Steam and this beta can be found at www.steampowered.com.
The newest version of Counter-Strike (1.6) introduces new weapons (riot shield, FAMAS) a new map (de_airstrip), and more. Take a look at Rizzuh's preview here for new info and changes.

The Counter-Strike and Team Fortress communities have maxed out the Steam 2.0 beta servers, resulting in the temporarily suspension of admission to the beta as more content servers are put online. The current Steam content servers offer over 500 megabits of bandwidth, all of which the community is consuming right now.
Anyone interested in hosting a Steam content server should email
biz@steampowered.com. (Content server requirements can be found at www.steampowered.com.)
Those who have already joined the beta are encouraged to continue their participation and submit their feedback.

 Big budget, big movie, big disappointment. Japanese and Korean Stars wouldn't make much of a different if the script wasn't good enough. The build-up of the movie was good, and I was expecting something different towards the end of the movie. But when I see the lead actor Jang Dong Gun fires one clip of 9mm from his MP5 killing more than 20 SWATs, and how the whole team of SWAT missed him but the captain shot him with a single shot of pistol. Crappy huh? Catch the trailer at its official site. The trailer always shows the best parts of the movie.

 Blizzard is making its first Action Shooter game from the famous StarCraft series. Ghost is the commando unit in StarCraft that could cloak himself (herself in this case) and initiate nuclear strike. This would be a RTS-turn-FPS experience after the C&C:Renegade. Remember to catch the trailer.

  Both from Electronic Arts, but totally different experiences. FIFA 2003 and 007: Nightfire, with one do you preferred?
Personally, I enjoyed FIFA 2003 very much, even though I don't follow the scoccer matches. As for Nightfire, other than the Bond's feel of the movie, the game is just like any other FPS games.
